Brief
Super Searchers is an information literacy programme designed to combat misinformation and help people evaluate online information. As trust declined and digital complexity increased, many users lacked the practical skills needed to identify reliable sources and contextualise what they encountered online.
Approach
Super Searchers was developed using a train-the-trainer model, equipping librarians, educators, and trusted community figures with clear frameworks, real-world examples, guided activities, and adaptable resources to support diverse and vulnerable audiences. The programme has since expanded across North America, Europe, MENA, and APAC.
Deliverables
Interactive training deck, 4 animated videos, facilitator guide, workbook, poster, resource pack, one-pagers, localised into 6 languages.
